? about HX40 flange

I bought a silver 64 and it was supose to have an HX40 flange for the down pipe. I put it on and went to clamp up the down pipe and noticed that the flange on the back of the charger is flat not tapered like my down pipe and 3/8'' smaller than my down pipe. I got that down pipe from ATS about four years ago. I called II and they said that they only offer two different types this one and a bigger 3rd gen style. Whats the deal?

Do you have pics of the ATS down pipe what size is it ? The HX 40 is 4" . That's industry size for a 2G turbine outlet . ED , Stainless Diesel, II,BD and others all use that size .

Its a 4" pipe that flares on the end. I cut the end off and machined a new flange to fit the II charger and welded it to the down pipe. It worked out pretty good I should have took some pics before I put it on. I just wondered if it was an ATS thing.
