Afe stage 2?

Looks about right for that particular kit. We had one on the shelf at DI...I looked at it but decided to wait on the Mega system from AFE.
 
Hmmm yep That's what I thought. Mark sent me some pricing on the mega kit. Do you know the difference between the two?
 
I've got the mega on my truck, and it replaces the battery try and all, and also replaces the intake tubes back to the turbo.
 
Ok I got it ordered the AFE stage 2 mega kit from Mark Craig over at DPPI on Monday and it arrived today. The only way it could have gotten here any faster would have been by teleportation. I installed it this evening. Now I have a few questions. I am guessing that the difference in sound (throaty) is normal. And the turbo whistle is alot louder I'm hoping that's normal also. Is there anything else that I might need to know before I start messing with my tunes?
 
Increased sound is normal due to that huge open filter under the hood :D


I run their Stage 2 on my 7.3 and it definately made it louder.....even over my old open air intake LOL
