what is out there aside from chinese and alabama cylinder head? I am pretty much resigned to the fact that my stock head at 155k is cracked. Any shops out there like Scheid or Haisley sell a complete head all pimped out with 60lb springs and porting and machining done? what would a guy be looking at for price if there is a full meal deal head?

Any chance of a milder port/polish job and 3 angle valve job option for those loaded heads? Looking to improve flow on the 97, but don't feel the need for a Stage 2 job and backcut valves with a 5 angle job.
 
If someone buys a head and sends it to me I can port it! Lol Or if you are close edgerat I can help you out.
 
I just got my new head from Garrett at Pure Diesel Power.
I ordered a NEW loaded head, o-rings, a Stage 2 port and polish, I got the 5 angle valves and the back cut on them. I also had them install #60 valve springs.
All I have to say is Garrett and his porter (Joker12valve) are TOP NOTCH STAND UP GUYS to deal with. My head to about a month to do everything and during the entire time either Garrett ot Joker would PM me on here or they just gave me a call out of nowhere just to let me know how things were going.
I recieved the head last Fri. and yesterday Garrett called me just to see how I liked it, and when I was going to install it.
I will be at my Brothers (truck is there) tommorow to start the install. I hope to have it running by Fri. or Sat.
When I am done with my retorques I will let everyone know how it works. Since I am only doing the head, and no other performance parts.

I would like to tell anyone on here that Garrett has some of the BEST customer service here.

Also, when I was looking for a new head I happened to call Scheids because they are close to me and they wanted $1200 for a rebuilt head!! And then a WHOLE lot more for them to port and polish it.
