air water intercooler lower boost?

Do the air-water intercoolers such as frozen boosts lower boost?
 
that can happen by cooling the charge down enough it acctually makes a denser and more oxygen rich scynerio. can also mean less acctual boost with more power.
 
I figured since they're not as big as other aftermarkets it wouldn't hurt boost as much
 
U pretty much answered my question, I didn't know if they lowered boost so much u lost power or not, thank you.
