ALH with 12mm pump

is 12mm pump on a 00 TDI ALH engine to much for a DD?

Not at all but why? You can go a lot farther and cheaper with ECM tuning!

You only need to bump up to a 12mm head after you cross the 200whp line. I have a 12mm going on my DD tdi but it's going to be 240+whp.

Off of a VE 4bt pump. Or any bosch dealer, but that costs $600+.

The problem with those 12mm pumps is that they really do not like the upper RPM's. A well tuned 11mm will deliver well over 230HP and allow you up to 6000RPM (with a slight modification).

Ditto. Pay less than $500 for a NEW 12mm head and you might get $1/mile out of it. Dieselvw is the same junk. Same with rockentech.

And when the head locks up, it cost's alot more than $500 to repair the damage...
