allison np205 adapter ??

any ideas on where to get a adapter to mate a np 205 32 spline chevy to a allison 545 ? I saw a 85 k30 with a 6v53 detroit allison 545 with a np205 mated to it, a nice gunmetal gray one on the internet.I didnt recall a way to get ahold of the person. Thanks Brian

I am putting an Allison 545 with a divorced 205 in my 94 ford...the divorced setup makes things much easier. Front/Rear driveshafts will be the same length so I could swap them if need be, and the shaft from trans to tcase will only be 14"...shouldn't be breaking that one.

I'll be curious to see how a 205 will hold up to 1000+ft/lb.

Ive had good luck with Midwest Transmission in Zumbrota MN. I know they build adaptors so I would think they could machine what you need.

the allison at545 will not 1000ft lbs. of torque. you would be better off finding 1000 series. they will hold more torque and shift one hell of a lot better. i broke two np 205 t-cases before i switched to a 2.5 ton t-case. just trying to save you banging your head on the ground in frustration.
