I have a 99 56 block that I'm p pumping going in my 01 that currently has 7x12s and a ported and polished he351 over a race s475 the pump I'm using is a 230 pump with 7mm DVS custom fuel plate and 5ks so my question is how will my set up run with that p pump I'd like to make 700 I'm also port and polishing the other head too thought s?

Maybe 600 with the small injectors...are you running factory lines and any flow work on the pump?

I would think 7x12s would be plenty for a p pump? I was mostly questioning my air supply but was bench 60000 ago unknown numbers though. But thanks for the input none the less.

I had a 180 pump, 4ks, 191 dvs, no plate, and 7x12s on a 01 24v and my s366 cleaned it up pretty well. I was at 550hp with a dv not sealing when I was on the dyno. My 24v trucks both vp and ppump have always liked a larger injector than I would have figured.

I did 650 on an unloaded dyno and untuned 180 pump with 5k & 024s on a s467.7 with 6x.013s. might need to gate the 351 to keep it alive.

Okay here is my delama I have 12v with a 230 p pump with 7mm DV 5ks 188/220 cam 5x16s and a built he351 over a race 475 fully built 12v head and block to handle over 1000 HP and 5k rpms. That I built for my first gen which is very far from done and I have a dieing 01 VP 44 my 01 is in mint condition I also have a 24v long block with a 100k grocery miles on it so I'm not sure which would be the better route to p pump the long block or put the 12v in the 01 my goal is 700

A stock bottom end will handle 700 no problem so I don't think you need anything special. That twin setup should be ok for 700, just make sure you aren't working the he351 too hard. I really like my 24v and I'm partial to them over the 12vs , but that's not to say they are better.

So where is the best place to by the conversion lines? I hear a lot storys about them cracking all the time and I don't want to spend 500 bucks just to have the keep cracking and I can bend my own would they hold up better?

I got my lines from woodruff, had leaking and cracking issues, I lapped each line to it's corresponding crossover tube which solved the leaks. Changing injectors seemed to eliminate the cracking issues.
