4"x5" E4340 bar stock, 68.06 pounds per foot. 17-5/8" is about 100 lbs.

Comes in 12 foot nominal lengths, or cut if you want.

Anybody interested in something like this?
 
Regulation tractor suitcase weights are going to run you around $0.75-$1 per pound.

I can get this for a lot less than that.

I am going to get 2k for sure. There is more, not trying to get rich here, just thought I would pass it along.

If you actually needed it for what it was, this is a steel. LOL

How many tractor weights to you want to buy at $1/lb. I will sell them all day long for that. I was hoping for around $0.65/lb with the ones I have.

I have 8, it is cool, just putting it out there.
So how much per lb for the E4340?
How does it hang?
 
I plan to build a box, and set them on end, inside of it.

A box a little over 40"x10" x18" or 28"x15"x18" would hold 2K.
 
Id be interested in about 30' to saw up for the front of the weight box....if the price is right.
