auxiliary light problem

I recently put cab lights on my '94 F-350 and just wired them to the auxiliary lights instead of wiring them to a switch. Anyways not that light is out when i try and turn on the auxiliary lights but the bulb is good cause it works when i turn on the blinker.. I'm stumped.

huh?

look in the pass footwell (between the door and firewall)behind the panel.there is a plug for cab lights.plug into it when you turn on lights,cab lights power up.
