The battery is draining on my 05 duramax, it will usually start though unless it sits for more than a day. Anybody have and ideas on what would cause this? it's not throwing any codes. Thanks!

how old are the batteries?? Also put a good charge in the batteries and when you know it's going to set for a few days disconnect the grounds and when you go to use the truck again see if the batteries dropped down in voltage, if they did you have bad batteries if not you have a short some place or something staying on that you don't know about.

that little red plastic box that has the "+" sign on it, open it up, ive had a few that were all corroded up in there

My truck did the same thing. If it sat for more than a day or so it wouldn't start just click the solenoid. Bad passenger battery... Used a battery tester and it showed bad. Replaced it and all is good 4 years later.
