Here is a photo or two of the car in reconstruction mode.

It will be 10 years since the run in Pomona that we went into the 7's.... So, still only 4 faster than that? I notice that the Hypermax is not on the last listing I saw, must be out dated.

1. Scheid's rail 6.73, 205 -12v ppump, water
2. John Robinson Diesel Funnycar 7.42 @ 186 fuel only
3. 2. Dr. Performance BrakeSmart Rail 7.75, 165 -nitrous
4. Darren Morrison (quarterman) 7.79, 166 -Pro Stock truck, 12v, water
5. Cummins Racing Rail Bentz 7.98, 167.43 -24v ppump, nitrous
6. Chad Riley (altered roadster) 8.26, 161.76 -24v, ppump
7. Stock600 {Altered} 8.27 @152 -12v/TH400, Gearbound [60' 1.161]
8. Dr. Performance truck 8.29 @ 167 - Greg Hogue, Pro stock truck
9. Other Dr. Performance truck 8.32, 166
10. BPonci(Altered) 8.60, 159 - 12v, water, single turbo

Did you buy it back & are rebuilding it or is this the work of the new owners?

If I remember right it was sold to Aussie s b/c of health issues or am I thinking of another rail?

I think that list is cummins only. Hypermax as you probably know is not cummins powered. That being said I Cannot wait to hear and see that thing go.:rockwoot:

Cool to see that ride being wrenched on again. Are you officially un-re-tired now? lol

No, Steven Vanderhee owns it now in Australia, and is doing the rework. Yes, I have some cancer issues, but under control. Been 4 years since I was diagnosed.

Steven is the most passionate diesel guy I have met. I wish him well with this project.
