Bought this in preparation for future power goals but after some more deliberation I think I'm probably going to end up running S400/400 compounds instead. So I've got this great S588 for sale. Has less than 1000 miles on it, it's very tight, no play. Guy I got it from said it was a .85 T-6 open housing. However it has 1.15 stamped on the back of the housing and in the volute, so I'm going with it has a 1.15 T-6 open housing. $1950.

Not trying to high jack your sale page. Just curious did you paint the hot side or order it pre treated ? Just wanting to do my own and didn't know how to go about it since it can get 1,500+ degrees

To be honest I'm not sure if this one is treated or not. If it is, it was done by the last guy who had it. That being said if you do coat yours go with a good ceramic coater. Last time I checked it was $65-90 depending on size of the housing and what finish you went with. There's a thread on here in the turbo/supercharger section dealing with these types of coatings, definitely check that out as well.

DEI silicone ceramic paint holds up extremely well. I use it on all my crap.

I think we need to talk again... lol

I just got a new phone today so I don't have your phone number anymore
