Like the title says..

What's the biggest S400 frame turbo has/can you put in the stock 3rd gen location NOT using a spacer. Using a T-4 3rd gen manifold.

Thanks.

I've seen a few run with battery tray and stock shock tower...just curious on max size that will fit without serious changes.

Thanks.

Do K-31's and S400's share similar compressor housing sizes?

The k31s are actually a little bigger than a s400. I've seen some s466 turbos on a 3rd gen manifold.

Just a idea but...If you're concerned about the shock tower you could get a skyjacker dual front shock kit and only run the shock on the outside of the spring to eliminate the tower and shock on the inside.

Skyjacker Suspension 94 01 Dodge Dual Shock Kit

I know it's for a 94-01 but could find one with a picture for your year. They should be all the same though.

I was thinking 472, but it's been a while..

Unless you're running expensive shocks, I'd ditch the towers. $.02

I know a K-31 fits with PLENTY of room...

So I was trying to use that as a guide to see if the S400's are similar in size.

Im looking at a S472 from T$....

Get you a tight 90 to clamp onto the compresser outlet and fab up a pressure pipe and you should be good to go man:rockwoot:

Yeah I can get a Cummins P/N 90* V-Band and making the I/C pipe is a breeze.

Just wanted to cover my bases BEFORE I tear stuff apart and go DOH!!!!

You can also run these too.
If you only want to run single shocks, and not two. They clear up a lot of room.
