Billet Rods or Aftermarket

I dont really see any need. The guys that are breaking rods, are more than likely sticking the piston first. The guys that are bending them, are having huge nitrous detonations. Someone correct me if i am wrong?

I don't think Corey Atley had any nitrous detonation when he blew his out the side of the block.

Ya but i dont believe you need billet rods until you reach the 1000 to 1200 hp range. There are guys out there making over 1200hp with stock rods

No offense to lloyd, but there is a big difference between being able to make 1100hp. and then turn it down to say 800 for driving around versus a dedicated sled puller making 1400-2000hp. that goes wideopen for 15-20 seconds everytime you drive it.

My WPE motor is still running strong with the shot peened and cryo treated marine rods :)
