Body Work?

I have a short-bed ext. cab '98 Ram 2500.

It has under a little bit of rust on it's LR fender and a patch of it in the bed. I've heard it's easier to replace the bed than to get those sections repaired. Is there somewhere I could get it cheap or somewhere in particular I should look for it? Maybe a site for after-market body parts for those body styles?

Also, I want to sand and primer it. I'm looking to get a flat color on it.. like flat back, maybe. Any tips on doing the prepping myself? What all would I need?

Depends on the size of the rusted area and location.

Not really, if it is on the bed side you really have two choices. You can either hang a new bed side or you can just find a new bed. If you try to patch a rust spot on the side of the bed it will be back within 2 years MAX.

i just want a new bed. where could i look to find one?
