Buying a 6.4

Im about to but a 6.4 and not really sure what Im in for. The truck has 150,000 miles. Im more of a mechanical guy and never really dealt with electronic engines other than my 7.3. What am I in for, like what common problems are these things having? Already planning an EGR, DPF delete, intake, exhaust, and an H&S. Thanks guys!

get a oaisis report fromt eh dealer with the vin number.

it will tell you whats all been done under warranty

I would say walk away I love my 6.4 but I am getting tired of it. There is nothing simple to fix. I have had the alternators start on fire the little blend door motors go out between those 2 things I have around 14 hours in it these trucks are great but also pita.

Thanks for the advise guys. "luckily" the truck turned out to be kindof a POS so I decided not to buy it. It was an old fleet truck for a construction company in the oil field so you know all 150,000 miles were HARD miles.
