cab lights question

I was wanting to get some black cab lights for my truck, but I have heard sometimes they have leaking issues. has anyone installed or had some installed and have had years of no problems leaking?

Also whats better Putco or Recon?

Have a set of recon 3rd gen cab lights on my 01.. Just measure a bunch of times before you punch holes in the roof..

Mine have been on there for 3 years now with zero issues just use silicone on all the screws and where the wires run into the cab

which way did you drill through? from the inside or outside?

I pulled my headliner and drilled through the holes from the inside for the wires then laid it out on the roof and drilled downmeasure twice tho then it's easy good luck silicone does the trick 5 years no leaks

I got tired of the Recon LED cab lights burning out, so I just ordered a set of Putco.

so putco seems the way to go after searching around some

guess its officially going on the list
