CEL with flex fans

Has anyone ran into a CEL after installing flex a lite fans on a 3rd gen?

Only code in the ECM is 0480 and 0483. They are both turned off in EFI lives DTC list. The instructions and every thread I've read say that they should only be soft codes. But for whatever reason they aren't in my truck.

Any help would be great.

Yep! Something else has to be causing the code to pop. But i do not know what

wow. thats beyond me. i used it for my p0341 problem and has never been an issue since. hopefully someone can lend a hand.

I get them on my 2004.5, but I don't have the luxury of EFI

i never had the CEL, but the code for the missing fan clutch (or whatever) kept popping up.

On my 05 I cut the old plug off the fan clutch sealed it up good. Plugged it back onto the truck. I have never had any code for fan clutch.
