Did a full build on a 95 12v 2.6 puller. Has elec. water pump and fans and lift pump. Since doing the autometer tach and fluidampr she's won't charge. I know it needs the stock pick up off the crank sensor to allow it to charge. Since we don't need that and the autometer pick mounts where they want the stock sensor relocated with the fluidampr. What's everyone doing to make it charge without going to a 1 wire alt. set up. Any input would be great. If I can get a wiring diagram I'm sure I can figure out how to make it all work.

Or a 90s ford truck external regulator. It'll have you run a battery feed to the regulator, a key power, and a field wire out to one of the small posts on the alternator (doesn't matter which one), and the remaining small post gets grounded to the case of the alternator.

I like to go fast

I was going to suggest an external from an 80's dodge. But any brand will work. If you want the flexibility of adjusting and maybe running 15v, buy an external regulator that car audio guys use.
