Cheapest place for reman head

I have a buddy coming home for leave before he goes to Afghanistan. His mother called me wanting to try and get his truck back together so he can enjoy his time back. There isn't time to drop it off at the machine shop with how far their out, does anyone have a source for a good deal?

Seems like a good cause... I have a 12v head I would donate but as I was typing this I see its in the 24v section! Good luck, I'm sure someone will hook you up for a soldier.

I haven't priced a VP head through them, but we've bought a couple 12 valve heads from Odessa Cylinder Heads in Florida for around $650 shipped. You might give them a call.
