Clearing a C.E.L

So I dont have a programmer on my truck right now and I threw a overboost code. I was able to find out what the code was by doing the key cycle trick to get it to readout on the odometer.

Does anyone know what you have to do to clear the code without having a scan tool ? I have done it before just forgot the sequence

I believe the sequence is disconnect the batteries, for something like 5 minutes, and hold the positive terminals to a ground, and you have to do it like 3 times or something.
