Ok guys I just finished up on my auto to Manuel swap with a nv4500 and a dual disc and 3rd gen heavy hydro's.. My pedal feels different from other trucks I've drove with a dd in it and also its making a horrible grinding noise when clutch is pushed in. It seems to go into gears just fine other than 1st but I didn't mess with it enough to check all the gears any help would be great.. I couldn't find a good answer on the other post I looked up.

Either way tranny needs to come back out to see what's making noise.

Also see what the clutch for throw is. Believe it should be 1-1.5" travel

I'll pull it out today an check to see what's going on. Didn't happen to check for the washer so i'll do that also.

Also make sure you use the flywheel bolts that come with the aftermarket flywheel, and not the factory bolts. There can be interference issues with the factory bolts when used on the aftermarket flywheel.

Could be the throughout bearing on the fork hitting the clutch. I have the same deal on my pulling truck and it vibrates a bit when you push the clutch in all the way, im not worried about it
