Last winter got down to -10*F a couple days here...my old 98 with a 550cc pump, DDP4's, and 20* timing did NOT like starting, even plugged in! It was probably a little low on compression too.
However, the 95 with 375K miles, DDP3's, and a lot less pump started after a few grid cycles, and cranking for a few more seconds.
Something tells me I'll be spoiled now that I have the 6.7L
