Compounds and vps

Unfortunately money is not falling from my a$$. I want to do it cheap. Not saying I will use chinese nock off chargers, but as affordable and effective as possible.

Did you not read the first part of my post? I spelled out the cheap way first.

Yes I understand that. I did not say that you didn't... I was basically saying that the first setup would be a good route for me.

Here are the twins off my dakota.
63/68/.70- 76/83/1.10 it was a tighter fit than i thought it would. Should have some numbers for after Oct. 19th

I've run a 62/69/14 over a S475/96 since 2004 on my 2002. The truck made 638hp, the last time it dynoed, and has over 1600 1/4 mile passes on that setup. I did swap a S480 on it at one time, but the VP doesn't have enough fuel or rpm to really make that work. The S475 is a much better choice.

JL 6x.013's, Hamilton 188/220, Mild Head job done by brother- port matched, some bowl work, polished.

Paul, is there any other motor work done to it as far as cam and head? Also what pump? Thanks for the input!

Karl from redline ran a 11.21 with a single 66 fuel only. Then put a 480/96 under the 66 and ran a 11.01 fuel only with a monster pump and 6x.013's. His current set up is 10.43 fuel only with a single 480 and top feeds. Maybe look him up...

That vp powered bully dog truck that smoked me Saturday had a huge set if twins, 6x16 injectors and a dragon fire pump, should be worth about 1k on the bottle.
