cool video of my 6 second hayabusa

yeah chain looks like its ready to fly off! Badass tho. A friend of mine has a turbo one, not sure what he runs but its pretty wild.

well.......

The chain is tight as hell, thats how much it stretches under a big load.

Look at the top of the chain. It will be tight as hell because thats where it is loaded. Bottom of the chain is loose more from chassis flex, imho. The chain rolls off the counter shaft with next to no load and is pulled around the top of the rear sprocket from the counter shaft. Dont get me wrong, the chains do stretch but not on the bottom.
Our chains have double or triple side plates.

I have to agree with him no matter what alloy that is it won't expand and contract that quick.

Amazing how it lifted the front tire and carried through two gears without dropping down on the shift, all at the top end of the track!

That is chain stretching from load. And sweet. The chain does stretch on the top and the slack shows up on the bottom.

Wanna make a wager?
I'll give him one of our chains and it will look the same. Guaranteed he is not stretching our chain. If we try to run the strongest 630 single side plate chain made it snaps almost immediately.

Stretching might have been a poor word, elastic deformation is the ticket. And yes your wonder chain is bound to show some measurable elastic deformation as well providing the load is great enough.
