Copper spray?

Going to put a new head gasket in my 06 cr tomorrow, I bought a factory Cummins gasket, I read somewhere that I should use copper gasket spray on the gasket when I install it, is that true? I was also wondering how much I can safely torque arp 2000's to. Thanks
 
i use the copper spray on every head gasket i install. id say go ahead. cant really hurt anything... and if i remember right, you torque those studs to 125lbft...
 
I use copper coat on every 6.0 head gasket we do. Even using the Black Onyx gaskets, we have yet to have a come back.
 
Put a SBC together once, used copper coat on one head, high tack on the other. When it had to come back apart the high tack head was stuck on way better than the copper coat head. I've not picked up a can of copper coat ever since then. $.02
