ok so heres what my question is. as i was cruising at 65mph 2200rpms, my egts are at around 850*. with my same set up but with a 62/65/12 my egts where at 600ish. is the 200*rise in egt do to the larger turbine? my egts at 50%throttle only go up to around 1100* at around 20-25 pounds of boost. should i put the plate in and set it 3/4 forward? my egts at 80% throttle are around 1300*. thanks in advance!

Don't look at the gauge, problem solved. No seriously, the difference is all in preboost fuel, with your 62 cruising you could be making 8-10 psi and with your 66 you will make less. More fuel less air creates more heat.

There is nothing you can do with the afc/fuel plate settings that will change your cruising boost and/or cruising EGT. That is simply a product of injector size, timing, cam, and turbo. Your new bigger turbo is less efficient at making 75-80 HP required for your truck to cruise at 65MPH because it's not really spooled up. One way to increase efficiency is to add another bigger turbo down stream to force feed the 66 a small amount of positive pressure while cruising.

(2) turbines extracting exhaust heat energy and producing boost are more efficient than (1), unless adding the second turbo creates more backpressure losses than the marginally small gain of 1/2 psi it pushes into the smaller manifold turbo at cruise.

I usually run 65mph my EGT are around 700 but the injectors Im running are 5x.018 my timing is at 18* I would love to run higher timing I dont know how high to go. I would run a plate though

At 65 I'm at 850 with a half ton Chevy and a 12v with a 366 so I think you are good haha. I need way more timing though. I'm at 18* and I think it should be more in the mid to high 20's
