Just curious what the "normal cruising temps with this turbo should be. Its a River City 62/71/14 and I just got it installed this past weekend. Cruising along at about 60 MPH I'm seeing temps just over 800 degrees. That is around 1900 RPMS with 33" tires a nv5600 and 4.10 gears.

Does that sound about right?

Reason I ask is my stock turbo usually ran high 600's. I expected some temp increase because of the bigger wheels but I didn't think I'd see almost 200 degrees. We have a bunch of snow on the ground right now so I haven't had a chance to really play with it.

Thoughts? comments? Am I off my rocker? I've got a Quad ADR and Jammer 3's btw. thanks.

Thats about what I see with my SPS62, but I have a Ported/polished 12v with a helix 2.

Edit: Nv4500 4.10's and 35's around 1700 rpm.

peg your pyro a couple of times and break that ***** in! It'll loosen up a little and the temps will come down

My sps66 cruises at 900-1100 depending on conditions. Nice and toasty! :evil

at 60 im in the 600-700* range. at 80 i get around 800-850*.

i got 265/75/15s, 3.55 though and also live on flat ground, no hills.
