I'm in the process of porting my 12valve head and want to remove the mountain inside the intake shelf that was for a fuel filter mount in a different application. It seems to me that it would cause some flow restriction to the rear cylinders. What size plug do I need for the hole that the filter mount stud would have threaded into? I have searched several times and haven't found the answer and end up distracted on rabbit trails before I find any thing helpful.

QuickServe tells me M16x1.50 based on my ESN. Should be the same for all 12v heads though.

Thank you Jimbo, I appreciate it!

I tried measuring the threads in the hole to get the minor measurement of the plug I'd need, nothing metric or SAE seemed to match up. Thank you for the idea, I had not thought of that before. I will definitely use it in the future.
