I was just lookin on YouTube at random sled pull videos and I was watching some of darren smith in smokin blue. Just wondering is he running a trans brake or just an extremely loose converter. Seems like he gets is almost up to 4k before he leaves the line.

That truck is pretty nasty! i can remember when it was a daily driven VP truck! Now its got a P-pump and a 6.7 block. Def. pulls realy good!

I heard that thing at Scheids driving around and it sounds sick!!

He also uses a co-pilot to lock up the converter at 1 mph.

I thought he used a BD? My ATS box won't lockup below 8 mph.

Thats what he told me about a year ago. Could be a BD though.
