Are the big Mod diesels and N/A mods still using Detroit Lockers in the front of their trucks or have they all moved to a slipping axle locker like TRB sells?

Do the Detroit lockers start acting up after a certain amount of power?

Thanks,

Doug

Hey Doug, your old engine isn't killing the Detroit in our 70 out front! When we were out in St. Hyacinth a few years ago and broke all 4 axle shafts in the truck and the chuck in the 106 the front locker was about the only thing to survive.

Mine split in half on a 2.6 puller. I was pretty surprised when it happened but I guess it does happen.

Had a locker in a 60 last 10 years thru multiple ring gears.
Went to a 106 and am on 3rd locker, 1st one should've have broken,
2nd one don't know why it broke.
Seems like if something breaks and jams up, it will strip out the locker.
