My latest project, building a pattern & core box for Dana 80s. It will be cast alum. 356 t6 with a magnetic drain plug, a filler plug & a glass sight gage on the side. Im casting 10

Finished the pattern today now on to the core box

Core box in the making, step 1 is a mold of the outside to make a mold of the inside.

So this is a plug it is the same as the core will be, I will make the finished core box mold off of this.

Heres the finished pattern and core box both made out of urethane the wood pattern Is the master and the urethane is the one used in the sand.
