Disk brakes will they fit?

Will disk brakes off a Dana 70 fit a Dana 80?
Found a 70 with disk in a junk yard wonding if they will swap to my 80.

I have been told no, because the mounting holes are not the same pattern.

It's not a bolt on swap... but i took the mounting brackets off the dana 70, cut them in half and welded them to the new axle tube.

The calipers are the only thing that will swap, I think.

ok I will leave it sit in the junk yard. I have enought going on not going to worrie about it.

I would save the headache and put an exhaust brake on... 10x the braking power, 10x less work
