DIY injector nozzle swap?

If you don't have the shims to change the pop pressure in the injectors I would advise not messing with them.

I changed a set out myself once, bought a set of 5*12's off eBay (DDP) I believe. The truck was a stock 160 and ran good before the swap and just swapped nozzles and ran fine after. If you know the set you have are in good shape you should be ok.

I don't think you can just buy a shim kit.

They're hard to find, but are available.

OP, for the time it takes and the cost of shims, I'm with DISTURBED on this for sure. Really not worth the time and money unless you just like to tinker. I've bought kits because I do more than just my own, but I wouldn't bother if I only had my own to do.

Didnt know they were available except from a Bosch dealer. That's where I get mine from and they are individuals not a kit
