dodge door panels

hey guys, ive got this 97 1500 ram and the driver side door speaker is blown. so i went out and bought two rockford 6x9s to replace the stockers. its got the infinity sound system for what its worth...but i just cant seem to get the darn door panels off! i know there are two screws in the door handle, and one by the a pillar in the door. but it just doesnt seem to want to budge. is there any special trick to it?

That door is held on by about 20 plastic push pins, go get a THIN panel popper and start working from the bottom up.

You will probably need to replace some of the push pins too.

most of them will be ok but ill say a few willstretch one way or another but ive always been able to reuse them

i have an 06 cummins crew cab and i want to replace the stocker speakers with 6x9's.
i don't think what's in there now is that big. the truck is just the ST model, I think it's a four speaker system. It also has roll up windows. do you think i've got the room in the door's?

No clue Tom, yank a panel off and see
