dodgeamax mega cab

I would do -

Headstuds

EGR delete

PCV reroute

new water pump

LBZ turbo mouth piece

But I really think it would be easier to swap a 12 valve or CR instead of the dmax.

Personally I would eliminate the stock VGT while the engine is out. If you want to keep it simple I would do the EGR delete, PCV reroute, headstuds (depending on future plans), and an LML drivers side manifold (if you don't plan to put aftermarket ones on it in the future).

Just based on mileage of the engine, the water pump should be good for a long while. I don't know about the hit it might have taken from the front end impact.

thanks, my plans are to get the truck to run 11's im ordering the studs now. Mike my horns are just about perfect lol

it would be but thats not what i want to do with it.

With a plan to run 11's, if funds allowed, I would put rods in the engine before I put it in. You could get it there on stock rods, it's been done, but it'll be short lived... especially if twins are part of the equation.

Is the dodge engine bay larger than the Chevrolet? Just curious as to how right everything will be tucked in there

ok how much are rods? is it worth trying to find used rods? the engine bay seems to be way bigger and the trans tunnel is more open as well. i was planning on doing a custom twin setup something that looks bad ass. i was wanting to get it running and driving stock then build it later once i knew it will all work out. i will start gathering all the parts now i guess.

"Building it later" is fine with extras like turbos, cp3's, injectors, etc. Any internal work, well worth it to do while the engine is out.

bed came in today, it got damaged in shipping though but its on. 06 truck with 2012 bed lines up decent.

Looks freaking awesome. I'd never expect the lines to match up that well. I also like the name mega max. Billet badges?
