Down pipe

On my 05 I switched to a 2nd gen ss manifold.
My turbo is a 475, There is a lot of weight hanging
on that v band clamp with exhaust piping. Has
anyone that has done this swap, braced their down
pipe.

you will be fine as long as the rest of your exhaust is supported.

i welded on a piece of rod to the side. Once everything was all mounted i pushed up on it and welded the rod so it would fit in the oem hole mount off the tranny. never had an issue

Did mine the same way.

I don't have any support goin to my stack and my exhaust is stiff ass you can get it
