Drive pressure question.

My drive pressure gauge bounces allot. With the issues I've suffered on this truck I figured I had better check. Just wanted to make sure that's normal.
Under just normal cruising circumstances it's smooth like the boost gauge but under heavy take off it bounces rather violently. Does the same with the exhaust brake.

That's pretty normal. I've seen a ton of gauges do it. You might try pinching the line a little. Might solve the bouncing for you

I thought about putting in a little valve to dampen the pulses but wanted to make sure I wasn't masking a problem.
