I finally got my traction bars preloaded where I want, but have now got some severe driveline backlash coming from some slop that feels like its somewhere in the front end, but still happens in 2wd. It's very noticeable when the DD clutch starts shuddering when taking off in 1st or reverse.

I can't find anymore bad U-Joints, and am running out of other ideas on where to look. Where would you turn next? T-Case?

Are your bars connected to the axle tubes or the leaf spring brackets? Did you weld the pumpkin to the tubes? Also which way did you set the bars, pushing the axle back or pulling the axle forward?

They are connected to the bottom of the u-bolt brackets and are preloaded about a turn, pushing to combat axle wrap. Tubes are not welded.
