Driveshaft 2006 4x4 CR

How much travel do you need for the driveshaft on the trans yoke going into the transfer case? 1inch 1-1/2 to the dust cover seal?

I lowered the back about 7 inches from factory height.

That's probably going to bottom out if the suspension compresses or if the axle wraps and goes forward on hard acceleration.

Just take that balancer off. Mine came loose and I took it off. Never had any issues running it without it

That was my thinking as well. I had it shorten and 1-1/4, and the trans yoke replaced do to it had a problem said the driveshaft place I took it too.

Just take that balancer off. Mine came loose and I took it off. Never had any issues running it without it

Heard to many bad stories about vibrations issues taking the balancer off.
