What is required to convert an AAM out of a Chevy to DRW? Will any brand of wheel work such as the Dodge or early Fords? I've got rear disks and my spings are set in for my truck (ford conversion). Thanks in advance...

Any 8x6.5" dually wheel should work, you may have to put a spacer on the axle if the inside tire is to close to your springs. A factory dually axle is wider than a srw axle by a couple of inches.

I borrowed a dodge wheel yesterday and it would fit without a spacer if I take the brake caliper off. My springs have been moved in to fit the ford frame so that's not a problem. Are most SRW guys running a 3" spacer to clear the brakes and if so, are the spacers brand-specific for the hubcentric factor?
