Dt466 problem

I am working on a 02 international 4300 with a dt466 in it. The truck was going over a mountain pass and lost all power down to 10 MPH and did this intermittently for the duration of the trip. They used the truck on a job for two days and drove it home and said it was running better but not the same as normal. Now it is idling rough like it has air in the lines and has no power. I installed a new fuel filter 3 weeks ago. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Not sure. Any way to check the codes without a reader? There is no check engine light.

Not much you can do without some sort of code reader, not sure if you can check them without one

Did you clean the rock screen in the fuel filter assembly as well ?

there could be a handfull of issues going on making it run rough. ipr, icp, failed injector, rail gasket. sometimes you can look and see if you have oil in your fuel tank. the rail gaskets fail and leak oil into the fuel system causing them to run rough.

Any one know what the compression spec is? I just did a compression test on a 2001.
