DV sealing ring?

I have a 175hp pump and I removed the 131s. The 131s are on the left and the 181s on the right. I pulled the 131s out and a sealing ring was broke. I got it out, and ordered new ones. I was told on here not to put the sealing rings back in with the 181s. The guy that benched my pump said that he would use sealin rings. I was also looking at the O.D. Of the DVs and was wondering if everything is ok to put in? And should I use the sealing rings an why it why not?

My stock 215 pump didnt have any seal rings when i changed them to full cuts!

That's what Bruce @taylor diesel said. He stated that the 215 pump didn't have them because the top of the plunger and barrels were different than the other pumps. Something along those lines?

I don't run them in any of my pumps. Never had an issue
