ECM Swap

I have some questions about an ECM swap.

I have an ECM that should be the same as mine (year, auto, etc.) on the way.

Will it start/run without changing the VIN and SKIM numbers?

I want to at least be able to test out my starting issue to see if it runs right with the other ECM. Even if it is only for a few seconds.
 
Not sure what all has to match up, but im pretty sure the abs ecm is also vin locked to the engine ecm.
Dealership should be able to flash it for you though, not sure what they'd charge to do it though...
Need to find a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge mechanic and hook him up with some cold beers!:Cheer:

Ditto that, but $hit it sucks having to deal with them. BHaner, what kind of starting issue are you having?
