Stock/Open Truck and Tractor Pull
Saturday June 9th 2012
At the Edgar County Fairgrounds
Pull Starts at 5:30pm
$20 Entry Fee
Registration/weigh-in starts at 4pm
Truck Classes : 6500lb Stock Gas Pickup - 7500lb Modified Gas Pickup - 8000lb Hot Street 2.5" Diesel Pickup - 8000 Open Diesel Pickup
Tractor Classes : 6500lb Open Tractor - 9500lb Open Tractor - 12500lb Open Tractor - 14000lb Open Tractor
We are offering a 70% Payback for the top 3 places in each class with added class sponsor money being added daily!

General Truck Rules
1. OEM firewall and floorboard.
2. Under hood inspection can be done at any time.
3. DOT approved tires 35” max height, no cut or sharpened tires.
4. OEM stock 1 ton or less drive train and OEM brakes.
5. Safety chains and loops around the drive shafts.
6. All trucks must have driveshaft shield around the rear U joint and and front shaft/front U joint. It must be 4” from center of U joint both ways, made from 1/8” thick steel and can be bolted together by 3/8” bolts. Shield can be maximum 4” larger than the diameter of the driveshaft
7. No altered frames
8. NO WHINING—Judges decisions final & take precedent over printed material
6500 lb. Stock Gas Class General Rules apply to this class.
1. Hitch height: 26” for 4-wheel drives, 28” for 2-wheel drives.
2. Pull from reece hitch and bumper only
3. Must have license and insurance
4. 6500 lbs.
5. Can run blocks and bars on rear end. Blocks must be removable.
6. May run weights behind front bumper in stock location.
7. After market ignition box with rev limiter OK. Distributor and coil must be stock.
8. No aftermarket headers or intakes allowed.
Modified Gas Only 7500 lb.
General rules apply to this class.
1. Hitch height: 26”.
2. 4x4 truck must pull in 4-wheel drive.
3. Pull from reese type, bumper, or drawbar type hitch, with no part of hitch in front of the center of the rear axle and nothing above the top of the frame rail. Hooking point must be no less than 42” from center of the rear axle. It must be accessible and RIGID. No floating hitches. Supports from the rear axle must be attached to frame only, not the hitch.
4. Under hood inspection can be done at any time.
5. DOT approved tires 35” max height, no cut or sharpened tires.
6. 540 C. I. limit on block with aftermarket cast block O.K. If you have not been certified to 540 C.I. or less and place in the money, your truck will be checked by the pull officials. By not obeying this you will forfeit your winnings.
7. No aluminum heads—cast iron only. Aluminum intake and headers allowed. No side exit exhaust, and no exhaust should exit out of the hood
8. No alcohol, nitrous, or methane based fuels allowed.
9. OEM stock 1 ton or less drive train and OEM brakes.
10. 140” wheelbase or less may have front weights 60” or less from center of front axle. Trucks more than 140” wheelbase cannot have any weights more than 2’ from the stock bumper location in the front of the truck.
11. Safety chains and loops around the drive shafts.
12. All trucks must have driveshaft shield around the rear U joint and front shaft/front U joint. It must be 4” from center of U joint both ways, made from 1/8” thick steel and can be bolted together by 3/8” bolts. Shield can be maximum 4” larger than the diameter of the driveshaft
13. Scatter blanket or blow proof bell housings and kill switches mandatory No dual wheels allowed

the atmosphere turbo (Big Turbo) does not exceed the OEM straight
bore dimension. (2.59") NO TAPERED COVERS will be permitted.
・ No Hanging Weight Beyond Front Bumper (Ballast Permitted)
・ 8000lb Maximum (With Driver)

・ DOT Tires 35" Height Limit
・ No Dual pumps, no compressed gases or Water/Methanol Injection

5. All necessary safety equipment required
6. PYF judge’s decision is final and takes precedent over printed material

Thanks to everyone for coming out at supporting the First Annual Edgar Co. Shrine truck/tractor pull. The night was a great success thanks to all of the participants that showed up, and enough money was made to send a respectable donation to the childrens hospital. I hope that all participants enjoyed the evening and are planning to come back next year!
