I don't drive my truck much anymore so no since in having this on it. The box will fit all years with correct map sensor. It does have the hot unlock on it. It has egt probe,transmission probe, fuel pressure sending unit the whole 9 yards.

They were more year specific than that. 01 and 02 were different than each other, and different than 98.5 & 99. But im sure you knew that already.

I may be mistaken but isn't the only difference the map sensor? And they do make map sensor adapters

Nevermind I'm dumb, for some reason I thought it said 01-02 not 98.5 to 02. Yeah I know all about the different map sensors and voltages and all that jazz.

edge told me that this box would work on both map sensor trucks. and that all it would need was the adapter. I thought that strange myself but it works. however sale pending.

Sent the money. 01 & 02 have one harness, only need map adapters.
98-00 is totally different harness (map connector and data link connector)
