EGT guage acting up....

So my EGT gauge just started acting up... displaying the wrong temp or just randomly moving around.

I try'd searching but couldn't find anything.

I've cleaned the probe w/ rubbing alcohol, checked all the connections to make sure they were tight. Hooked up ends to my amp meter that reads temp and as far as i can tell I think the probe is reading right.

Is there a way to check the gauge? does auto meter do warranty work?

Talked to Autometer they said to check the ground and that EGT gauges need a good ground to work properly.

Mine does this as well. Definately a loose wire (ground). If I wiggle the guage it stops.
