Looking at pin-outs on ecm 1-9 is a group.4 is the ground. Both are BK/LB.The next group is 10-18.11 is the ground.
Do they share the ground?
Does this ground go to the frame?

4th and 5th group has 30 and 49 as a ground both are BK/TN is this a different ground?
Does this go the frame?

My main problem is # 4.

I take it this is for the truck in your sig?

I see 4 as BK/DB and 11 as BK/LB. Both ground to the ecm.
30 & 49 ground to the battery circuit for the ecm.
4-engine speed sensor ground
11-sensor return, ground for multiple sensors.

Yes truck in sig.

The voltage between 5 v supply and ground is 5.02
My symptom list says that is in range.

I may have a bad signal circuit between ecm and o.p. sensor.
If that is the case what is the origin of the signal circuit?

if you have a three wire o.p. sensor
pin a is 5 volt supply from ecm
pin b op signal back to ecm
pin c is ground back to ecm

psi voltage
0 .42 to .58
25 1.42 to 1.58
50 2.42 to 2.58
75 3.42 to 3.58
100 4.42 to 4.58

measured with a break out harness on pin c
as psi changes voltage will also change. if you are not getting any voltage on pin c make sure you got the 5volt on pin a and ground on pin b. if so, your sensor could be bad

The problem is no resistance from oil pressure signal circuit ( C ) between ecm PIN # (6) and oil pressure connector.
Do you know if the wire just goes from o.p.s. gauge to ecm?
I cant find a pin put on the pcm.I think the pcm has a signal wire doesn't it?

my wiring diagram (witch is from cummins). shows pin c at oil psi sensor goes to pin 33 at ecm . hopes this helps. are you having any check engine codes. if so what might they be???

Just 0522 and 1693 the companion code.
My pin out says ecm 33 is LB/RD fuel shut-off signal.I have somewhat of a manual from cummins. Mine says 6 is GY/BK oil pressure sensor signal.
I dont understand why there different.

are you looking at the correct connector on the ecm??? their is an engine connector that all engine sensors go through. and an oem connector that would go back to the firewall with all (mopar ) hook ups, throttle , a/c, ign power, batt power. etc

Yes i am,The page is 8w-80-40 dodge manual.Thats the paper i have.

Pin 10 5v
Pin 06 signal
Pin 11 return

They all go straight to the ecm. You must have a bad harness.
