exhaust systems

Hey guys i know this may sound like kinda a dumb question to most of us here that a are performance junkies like my self but my uncle who has a 99 PSD is wanting a full exhaust system but wants a fairly quiet one im not really sure who makes one i know my bulldog 5in is anything but quiet. Got any suggestions?

Most of the popular 4" systems (MBRP, Magnaflow, etc) are just about as quiet in-cab as the stock exhaust. Outside, they aren't much louder, but do have a decent rumble. Most of these kits come with a flow-through muffler.

The 5" systems are typically louder.

Just installed a 4" turbo back system from MBRP on a 2003 7.3, the truck owner loves it, its quiet as stock in cab and has a decent crack outside.
