Any word on if its possible a few certain pro trucks show up and make a few passes, you know to make the final show better?

Im amped up a little late in the season i know, but i got a late start LOL

Wade, Jeff and I decided that we won't have any exhibition race's at our event. Jeff put it like this "you don't want to see Pro Stock after Top Fuel". You are welcome to bring it for some run's Saturday night after we are done with our race though. Maybe we can talk Darren into coming down and do a match race with you. Gary

well i was thinking about since race day will only have 16 racers that it would be a bit slow and that maybe a pair of exhibition races would keep the excitment going, unless i have missunderstood the race day's plans?

i re-read that gary, after the races sounds fine but make it part of the race schedule, after the finals are complete, then the pro trucks come out, right?

Wade ,

Jeff explained it to me like this, He wants the racers of this particular race to know and feel like they are the fastest guys on the track for the whole day...Letting them really take in their winning an awesome race.. Not to be out done by an unrealistic very expensive vehicle that not everone can own...

Main just letting these 16 folks be the total focus for them and their sponsor /vendors..

But you welcome to chat with Jeff / Gary about the after race Idea...

To bad you cant make this part of a intermission show or somthing similar....^

Wade, will your truck be ready for this event? I really don't have a problem with you bringing your truck down for a few passes after the Super Stock race. The Gamblers race will be run at the same time of Super Stock. So there really won't be any "down time" so to speak. I have a few other folk's wanting to bring exhibition vehicle's to this event. I haven't really asked Jeff specifically about it lately, but if you are entered in the Gambler's race (hint) you will just have to wait on the :tree: to come down on your opponent in the other lane. Do you catch my drift:what: Gary

Matter of fact we just put the valve covers on yesterday, waiting on 3 more items and were ready. How are you working the gamblers race?

Gambler's race is bracket style, run what ya brung. It will be run between rounds of Super Stock to keep the crowds on their feet and HAPPY :cheer:

here is a hint for a fare race, disable auto start. give the guy in the other lane a chance to spool......... they don't start running the weights forward on a sled when they give you the go, they let you spool.

So how is that Fair? being ready is part of racing!

come on, what if it was your truck that took longer than an auto start allows to spool? you know, guy next to ya knows you have him beat, so he pulls in fast and trips both bulbs while you are still in the burnout box...... by the time you get to the beams, the green is lit and you have not built boost..... other schmuck wins 'cause he took advantage of the situation, not because he had a faster truck. within the rules? yes.. sportsmanlike ? pft NOT. deserving an ass kicking? hell yeah.

Courtesy staging is in effect. How is it fair for the other guy who is ready and burns up his tranny because the other guy is taking to long to spool up? Double bubbling is not allowed. I'm saying that courtesy staging is going to be enforced. but if you put too big a turbo on to get an edge it may not be an edge because you can't spool!

Learn how to build a truck....this is part of racing. It's not sled pulling where you have all day to spool huge chargers.

There are trucks with BIG setups that can get up on the chargers quick enough...albeit with a little courtesy from others.
